Brelly & Patches

Brelly & Patches were a last-minute attempt at standing up a new pet insurance brand working mainly in the shelter space and targeting young adults. We had five days to create a brand to present and ended up presenting two! While our efforts didn’t pan out, we were very proud of what we were able to accomplish in such a short time.

Our idea with Brella/Brelly was to utilize the umbrella metaphor when talking about insurance. Protect your pets family.

We ended up finding out Traveler’s will sue the pants off anyone using an umbrella in their logo so as fun as Brelly is this wouldn’t have worked out regardless!

With Brelly being knocked-out as a possibility, we went searching for the next brand name. Patches! We had developed a strong visual brand already with Brelly so staying in that same lane, we have Patches. Scratches get Patches!
